The wedding of Gayle Frederickson and Greg Bredlau, both of Iowa City, Iowa, took place at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 1977, at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee. Pastor Lloyd Yaggie united the couple in a double ring ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her mother and brother, Mr. Randy Frederickson, Owen, Wisconsin.

Mr. Theone Frederickson and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bredlau of Owen are parents of the couple.

The bride’s sister Bonnie Sterm of Storm Lake, Iowa, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Donna Syndergaard of Neola, Iowa, and Kathy rust of Greenwood, Wisconsin, both sisters of the bride, Marlyn Frederickson, Cameron, Wisconsin, sister-in-law of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Jan Bredlau, Owen, Wisconsin, sister of the groom.

The groom was attended by Jeff Auberg as best man, of Withee, Wisconsin. Brian Bredlau of Ely, Minnesota, Dennis Bredlau of La Crosse, both brothers of the groom, and Kim Frederickson, Cameron, Wisconsin, brother of the bride, were groom attendants.

Serving as ushers were Duane Phillips of Waupaca, Wisconsin and Gary Potocnik of Owen.

Before leaving on their honeymoon they were honored at a wedding dinner in the church hall, and a reception at the Meadowview Country Club.

The new Mrs. Bredlau is a 1972 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, and attended La Crosse School of Beauty Culture. She is now employed as a cosmetologist at Walgreen Drug Store, Iowa City, Iowa.

The groom, also a 1972 graduate of O-W High Schools, attended W.W.T.I at La Crosse, Wisconsin, and is now employed at University Hospital, Iowa City, Iowa as a Bio-Medical electronic technician.
