Roselind Decker Didier 91, formerly of Dorchester, died Thursday October 2, 2003 at Colonial Center, Colby. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday October 6, 2003 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, town of Colby, Clark County. Father James Schaefer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Pat Decker, Scott Decker, Scott Maurina, Jerome Zylka, Danny Didier, and James Decker.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at Maurina Funeral Home, Dorchester. There will be a Parish Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m.

Roselind was born August 10, 1912 in the town of Holton, Marathon County to George and Clara (Stroota) Decker. She attended St. Louis Catholic School, Dorchester High School, Stevens Point College, and colleges in Milwaukee and Chicago. She taught rural schools for two years and then was a Governess in Chicago for six years. Roselind also worked for A.O. Smith in Milwaukee for five years and Advance Tool and Die Casting in Milwaukee for 14 years. Roselind married Michael Didier August 17,1957 in Genesee Depot, WI. He died February 14, 1970. In 1967 Roselind moved back to Dorchester to care for her mother and work with the elderly. She also worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for the Dorchester Furniture Factory and Maurina Funeral Service. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Societies, Lady Foresters, Senior Citizens Club, and the Senior Card Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents George and Clara Decker, husband Michael Didier, three brothers, Adelbert, Myron, and Bernard Decker, and two sisters, Margaret Thurlwell, and Dolores Zylka, her brothers-in-law, Ervin Zylka and Fred Thurlwell, and sister-in-law Eva Decker, a stepson Francis Didier and a stepson-in-law, Roger Raupp, two nephews Galen Decker and Ralph Zylka

Roselind is survived by her stepchildren, Mary Jane Raupp of Elkhorn, WI, Virginia (Herb) Fluegge of Arlington Heights, IL, Doris Brieske of Inverness, IL, Eleanor (Larry) Miciek of New Hope, MN, Shirley Lundvich of Chicago, IL, and Michael (Margo) Didier of Morgantown WV, 39 step grandchildren, 66 step great-grandchildren, and two step great-greatgrandchildren, a sister-in-law Arlene Decker and many caring nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends.
