Mrs. Alfred GUMZ, 34, of Colby, Wisconsin, died Thursday at Marshfield.

The former Jeanette BULCZAK was born June 26, 1938 in Bevent, and was married to Alfred GUMZ in 1957 in Dorchester. They farmed in the Town of Hull, Marathon County.

Survivors include her husband, her mother, two sons and two daughters, a brother and a sister.

Funeral services were held at Maurina Funeral Home, Rev. Petzold of Peace United Church of Christ in Dorchester, officiating. Burial was in the Dorchester Memorial cemetery.

Mrs. Alfred Gumz, 34, Colby, Route 2, died Thursday, August 24, 1972 at 4 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield after a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Maurina Funeral Home in Dorchester, with Rev. Milton Petzold, pastor of Peace United Church of Christ, Dorchester, officiating. Burial was in Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Carl Gumz, Kenneth Gumz, Richard Gumz, James Gumz, Larry Kreklau and James Kreklau.

The former Jeanette Bulczak was born June 26, 1938 at Bevent. She and Alfred Gumz were married at Dorchester June 22, 1957, and farmed in the Town of Hull, Marathon County since their marriage.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Daniel and Ronnie, and two daughters, Bonnie and Theresa, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Angeline Bulczak, Mosinee; one brother, Edward Bulczak, Hatley; and one sister, Mrs. Myron (Mary Ann) Karlen, Marathon.

She was preceded in death by one son.
