G. A. Grundy, who has been in poor health for the past year, left for Colorado last evening, hoping to be benefited by a change of climate. His many friends here and throughout the state join in wishing for him a speedy restoration to health.

Wm. Hills has been quite sick for the last three weeks, but is fast recovering under the treatment of Dr. Templeton.

Benhart Clause lost one of his team horses last week with pink-eye - the worst thing that has happened in town since the ten thousand dollar treasury steal.

The Neillsville School, will open on Monday, Sept. 4, with the following corps of teachers: Geo. F. Wells, Principal High School Miss Addie Neff, Grammar Department Miss L. M. Elliot, 2nd Intermediate Miss Eva Allen, 1st Intermediate Miss A. Kate Schlegel, 2nd Primary Miss E. M. Williston, 1st Primary
