A. F. F. Jensen
Mr. Jensen is a native of Denmark, where he was born in 1839. He came to New York City and Brooklyn, clerking in a store the first three years. He came to Wisconsin in 1853. Enlisted in the army in 1861, in Co. A., of the 6th Wisconsin infantry. Was married in 1864 to Miss Hulda Small. He came to Clark County with his wife in 1873. Their home was destroyed by fire in 1874. Since living in Clark County, Mr. Jensen has been engaged in farming and in the mercantile business in Dorchester. He has a good farm near the village, and also runs a general store in the village. He had no wealth whatever when he came to the county.

I was so happy to come upon this picture when searching A.F.F. JENSEN-he was my Great Grandfather. His son Roy was my Grandfather.
I have been searching the Civil War and the Iron Brigade-Antietam, Fredericksburg, Rappahannock,and Bull Run also. It has all been so interesting.
It was wonderful to find this page on the web, especially the picture, thank you.
