Ground has been broken, and the sound of blasting rock in the bed of O’Neill Creek, for laying the water pipe is hourly heard. The bonds to the amount of $2,000 have been sold and the money is in the treasury to pay for the job.

PINE VALLEY: A small, but perhaps the largest cyclone that ever reached this section of the country passed through here Saturday, causing considerable excitement with the people’s clothes line.

Quite a number of old Beaver Dams have been discovered on what now is called Seger Creek at this place, but will perhaps go by the name of Beaver Creek hereafter.
