He passed away quietly and peacefully at his home late last Friday afternoon, after an illness of two years duration, and in the faith of which he was baptized, instructed and confirmed.
His departure is mourned by his wife, Mary; his four children, Elsie Johnson, Oscar, Adolph and Ester Erdmann, his sisters, Mrs. Martha Peischer of Elgin, Minn., Mrs. Charley Erdmann of Athens, Wis. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
