Kasper's Observe Anniversary

The twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kasper of Spencer was celebrated on Saturday, June 7. Relatives and close friends gathered at the United Methodist Church fellowship hall where a 6:30 o'clock buffet supper was served in honor of the couple. Later in the evening, the many friends and relatives of the Kasper's joined in an open house at the ballroom of the Village Plaza. Music for dancing until one o'clock was provided by the Gary Aschenberg Orchestra. Carol (Fravert) and Norman Kasper were married on June 10, 1950 at Spencer in the Methodist Church by the Rev. Raymond Fleming. All of the original members of the bridal party, including the Rev. Fleming, were present for this anniversary celebration. They were: Mrs. Gilbert (Shirley Shupe) Waldhart, Appleton; and Mrs. Marvin Busse, Abbotsford, Mrs. Grover (Audrey Schreder) Maltby, Wauwatosa.; Virgil, Seefefd, Spencer; an d Mrs. James (Lorita Fravert) Driscoll, Fond du Lac. Carol and Norm are the parents of three children, Jane, Julie, and Glen. They own and operate the, Kasper Shoe and Sport Shop in Spencer.

Guests for the occasion came from Unity, Colby, Abbotsford, Medford, Merrill, Fond du Lac, Winneconne, New Hoistein, Sheboygan, Collins, Wauwatpsa, and Spencer.
