The maid of honor wore a dress of orchid taffeta in bouffant style with silk lace flounce and carried a bouquet of snapdragons and sweet peas.

Immediately after the marriage ceremony, the bridal party repaired to the home of the bride's parents, where a wedding reception was held. The home was nicely decorated in pink and white and with orchids for the occasion.
