Weeks, Mrs. Casper (29 OCT 1880 - 12 MAR 1919)

Mrs. Casper Weeks, who has suffered but a few days from an acute attack of pneumonia, passed away at her late home in this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) on March 12, 1919. For several weeks she had been slightly ill, but it was not until this week that she became very ill, and was forced to her sick bed, eliciting the sincere sympathy of her loved ones and friends, who came near her bedside.

Mrs. Casper Weeks (nee Knutson) was born in Utica, Crawford, Co., Wis., on Oct. 29, 1880, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. Erick Knutson of that place. On Nov. 14, 1900 she became the wife of Mr. Casper Weeks. The couple remained in Crawford for several years until they moved to Stanley, at which place they resided for the balance of the time before coming to this city about six years ago.

Deceased was a woman of excellent Christian character, and esteemed for her virtues. She was a good neighbor and citizen in this community, and a kind an loving wife and mother in the home. A pang of grief is left to those who knew her only to love her.

She leaves to mourn her early demise, her husband and ten children, all of whom are at present at home. She is also survived by a brother, Mr. Knutson of Stanley, who is here at this time, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The funeral was held from the home yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock, Rev. Nordby of Abbotsford officiating. Burial was made in the Riverside Cemetery.
