ENTERPRISE (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) 11/15/1919 Heauser, Freda C.
(Marriage - 13 NOV 1919) One of the
prettiest home weddings solemnized in the village of Dorchester,
Clark County, Wis., for some time past occurred on Thursday evening
at 7 o'clock, when Miss Freda Caroline Heauser, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Henry Heauser, became the wife of Mr. Elmer Williams of this
city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.). The contracting parties were
attended by Miss Pauline Skerbeck, as bridesmaid, and Mr. Ernest
Heauser, a brother of the bride, as best man. Rev. T. H. Mockler of
the German Lutheran Church officiated. Only near relatives and a
few immediate friends of the young couple were present. After the
ceremony a wedding supper was served to the ones present. Miss Heauser, for
a number of years past has held the position as operator in the
telephone office in Dorchester, and through her womanly ways has
won for herself a large circle of friends, who will wish her
well. Mr. Williams, the
youngest son of Dr. and Mrs. T. F. Williams, grew to manhood in our
midst and attended the local schools. At the time a call was issued
for young men to join the colors, he went with the first to enlist
from this city, and served over two years in the service in both
this country and overseas. His many friends here wish for him and
his wife much happiness and prosperity. Mr. and Mrs.
Williams will be at home aftr Dec. 1st in the rooms over the dr. T.
F. Williams residence, where the groom has made all preparations to
start housekeeping. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
