James Corzett has been appointed mail carrier by the Omaha Company to and from the depot in place of D. Hart who resigned. Mr. C. Made his firt trip Tuesday morning.

Drs. Mulvey and Reineking have this week formed a partnership for the practice of their chosen profession. We bespeak for them a liberal patronage. Dr. Mulvey is well known to our many readers having resided in the city since last November. He is, although a young man, the oldest in the practice of his profession of any of our physicians, having practiced at Loyal, this county, for the past five years. He is a graduate of the University of the city of New YOrk, one of the leading colleges in the United States, and is well up in all the latest systems and appliances, both in medicine and Surgery. Dr. Reineking, of the new firm, is also well known to most of our citizens having practice here during the past year until last fall when he decided to avail himself of a supplementary course at Bellevue Hospital Medical College, New York, where he graduated in March. He is also a graduate of Rush Medical College, Chicago, and a thorough student. Being of German parentage and speaking the language fluently, will commend him to the German speaking people, from whom he will undoubtedly receive a generous share of patronage. These gentlemen, for they are gentlemen, are both substantial residents of the city, and are here to stay, Dr. M. having recently purchased the Hammel residence on Grand Avenue, and Dr. R. who is not as yet a married man will follow suit as soon as the exigencies of his case will admit.
