Beecroft, Laura (1885 - 1951)

Mrs. Laura Horn Beecroft, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Horn, was born on June 18, 1885, in the town of Longwood, Clark County, Wis.. She grew to womanhood here, later going to St. Paul, Minn., where on April 15, 1914 she was married to William Beecroft. They lived in St. Paul for some time and later moved to Salem, Oregon.

To this union was born one daughter, Mrs. Nick (Lorraine) Igelberger; and three sons, Robert, Gordon and Donald, all of Salem, Oregon.

Mrs. Beecroft passed away at Salem, Oregon on Nov. 5, 1951, after a long illness.

She is survived by her husband, the above named children, two grandsons, Terry and dale Igleberger, two sisters, Mrs. Mark (Dora) Schuman, Watertown, S.D.; Mrs. George (Tillie) Poppe, Greenwood, Wis.; six brothers, Gus, Henry, Hubert and Otto, all of Greenwood; Ervin of Owen; Art of Onaka, S. D., besides her 96 years old aunt, Mrs. Louisa Horn, Greenwood, and a host of relatives and friends.

Her parents and brother Oscar preceded her in death.
