Bertha Riplinger

Berth Riplinger, 88, formerly of Colby, Wisconsin, died Monday, May 12, 1969, at the Marshfield Convalescent Home.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, May 15, at 2 p.m. at Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby and burial will be made in the Colby Memorial cemetery. The Rev. R. James Hagen will officiate.

Bertha Mihlke was born in the town of Green Grove October 24, 1880. She married Fred Riplinger February 28, 1903, in Colby. They were married by Justice of the Peace, Frank Firnstahl. Her parents had originally moved to Colby when she was a small child. They operated the Hotel for a few years. After their marriage, the couple spent several years in Colby where she and her husband were in business.
