Albert Gunz, 74, of 939 Sixth St. died Thursday at his home. He lived in Beloit since 1938.

The son of Henry & Elizabeth Horn Gunz was born June 4, 1892, in Mount Vernon, S. D. He married Clara Vertein on May 16, 1931 in Rock Springs, Wis. She died in 1961. Mr. Gunz was a machinist at Beloit Corp.

Surviving are three sons, Clyde & Earl of Rockford & Sterling of Beloit; Edwin of Spencer, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. William Reinheimer of Spencer & Emma of Alaska, & two granddaughters. He was predeceased by two brothers.
