Last Sunday evening while Mr. and Mrs. Hommel were making a visit to Mr. and Mrs. Luethe, Mrs. Hommel was taken with some heart trouble and was unable to be removed to her home.

Mrs. Owen Tracy received a check Saturday from the head organization of the Knights of Honor for two thousand dollars as insurance at the death of her late husband, who was a member in good standing of the Neillsville order.

Monday night a little alteration took place between Jesse Loew and John Cook. What the difficulty between them was we did not learn, but a warrant was sworn out Tuesday for the arrest of Jesse Lower for assault and battery.

Miss Anna Johnson has purchased the photograph paraphernalia and good will of H. C. Peters and she together with Mrs. Chas. Lee, who is a first class photographer, will conduct the business in partnership, and Anna can thus continue to study photography with more profit than as an apprentice.
