Long, Frank (MAR 1858 - 23 JUN 1922)

Frank Long, aged 64 years and 3 months, a resident of this city (Owen, Clark County, Wis.) for the past thirteen years, died at the Marshfield Hospital Friday, June 23, 1922, at Which place he had been confined for the past three months and a half, where he had gone to seek relief. Death was caused by tumor of the stomach, with which disease he has been affected for more than two years, and was constantly under the care of a physician.

On coming to Owen Mr. Long entered the employ of the John S. Owen Lumber Co., and remained with them until he was forced to leave his work because of failing health. He was an industrious citizen and was well liked and respected by all who knew him, and he had a large circle of friends to mourn his loss.

He leaves to mourn, a wife and one daughter, Mrs. Edward Acker of this city, and an older brother, who resides in Washington, but was unable to attend the funeral.

Funeral services were conducted from the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Acker, Monday afternoon, Rev. A. L. du Domaine of St. Katherine's Church, officiating, and burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.
