Williams, Theodore F. (1854 - OCT 1923)
Dr. Theodore Francis Williams was born at Blossbury, Penn., in 1854, and died at the age of 69 years, 11 months and seventeen days. After completing his high school education at Blossbury, he entered the employ of a large firm, where he did office work, later he engaged in the profession of teaching, which he continued until he came west and entered the Minneapolis College of Physicians and Surgeons, from which he graduated in 1884. After finishing his schooling in medicine he was employed by a construction company as a private physician, his work taking him into the northern part of Minnesota, where he remained until he moved to Chelsea, Wis., where he opened an office of this own. Here he enjoyed a fine practice, which he continued for twelve years, and in the eyar 1906 came to Owen, Clark County, Wis. and established a new business, being the only doctor in the village. Three years ago his health became impaired, and since then he did but little work. While a resident of Owen he held many offices of importance, serving on the village board of education and up until about a year ago was village health officer. He was a member of the Woodmen and the Woodmen of the World. In his passing Owen has lost a good citizen. He leaves to mourn, a wife and two sons, Bert of Clintonville, Wis. and Elmer of Owen.
