Mrs. Carrie Parker (formerly Miss Carrie Gotham) and her two boys from Blissfield, Mich., are visiting Mrs. Geo. J. Hart, Mrs. Parker’s aunt.

Claude J. Carter, an old time base ball was horse, came down Saturday from Greenwood to help the home team do up La Crosse at the latter place.

Frank Foote started Monday for St. Paul; after a few days there, he is going on on Montana. He will be joined by his sister Miss Grace on his trip to the west.

E. A. Beeckler was in the city Monday talking the merits of the Mystic Workers of the World as insurance order, for which he is organizing new lodges.

W. C. Brooks, of Abend-Ruhe Farm in Eaton, was in the city Thursday giving and getting pointers on sheep and other farm stock from fellow farmers.

Misses Maud and Mable Wendell, who have been visiting with Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Adams the past two months, left for their home in Minneapolis Wednesday.

Mrs. Letta Nason arrived from Bozeman, Montana Sunday evening to attend the funeral of her mother Mrs. Leason. She came across by team from Merrillan.

a. E. Dudley has sold the south half of his double lot where he resides on Grand avenue to Peter Peterson who will immediately build a residence thereon.

Mrs. R. W. King has been sick with typhoid fever since her return from Montana. She is reported to be getting along as well as the course of the disease permits.

Miss Louise Fricke came down Greenwood Tuesday, bringing with her Walter Servaty who has been making a three week’s visit at Greenwood, with his grandmother
