A very quiet wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cupps at Viola, Wis., Wednesday evening, Sept. 15, 1926, at seven o'clock, when Miss Beatrice Carruthers, daughter of Mrs. A. B. Carruthers of Withee, Clark County, Wis., and Mr. Francis Thomas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Thomas, of West Lima, Wis., were united in the holy bonds of matrimony, Rev. Guy Bailey of Viola officiating.

The young couple both belong to the Church of Christ, and they expect to locate near their church. Mrs. Thomas' friends and relatives at Withee extend to them best wishes for a happy wedded life.
