A lovely afternoon wedding service performed at the Zion Lutheran Church at Colby, Saturday, Sept. 28, 1940, united Emaline Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Martin of Withee and Albert Petke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Petke, in marriage. The service was performed by Rev. O. H. Hoffman of Colby.

The bride, a graduate of the Withee schools, Wausau county normal, and of the Stevens Point Teachers college was attractively attired in a dress of soldier blue with matching accessories as was her bridesmaid, Inez Martin, her sister. Each wore a soldier corsage of talisman roses and and baby chrysanthemums.

The groom, who is employed as a carpenter in Milwaukee, wore the conventional business suit of oxford grey. His attendant, Ernest, his brother, wore a suit of navy blue.

Following the service a seven o'clock dinner was served to immediate frinds and relatives of the couple at the home of the brides' parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Martin at Withee.

The couuple will make their home in Milwaukee.

Out of town guest that attended the wedding services were Miss Erma Flatter of Wausau; Mrs. Mable Kilroe of Mondovi; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Mueske and daughter, Miss Erma Severon, Charles Martin and John Martens of Merrill; and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gustafson and Mr. Victor of Rib Lake.

The Enterprise and the couple's many friends are sincere in wishing them a happy wedded life.
