ALMA ENGEBRETSON WAS BURIED MONDAY

Mrs. Alma Marie Engebretwon, a resident of the Village of Withee for the past 28 years passed away at her home Thursday, April 3, 1941, the victim of a heart disearse.

Mrs. Engebretson was born on March 6, 1879, at Chippewa Falls, and in the month of August, 1900, was united in marriage to Christian Engebretson.

She was a fine devoted mother having made a fine home for a family of 12 children, all of whom survive her except a son, Lester, who preceded her in death 14 years ago.

Her passing is mourned by her children--sons, Orville of Ray, Minn.; Floyd of Milwaukee; and Walton, who is at home; and daughters, Mrs. Alex (Alice) Doucett, Two Rivers; Mrs. Clarence (Adelel Jackson of Withee; Mrs. Dan (Bernice) McLaren, Mrs. James (Eileen) Howard, Mrs. Michael (Ada) Christophersen, all of Milwaukee; and Mrs. Robert (Irma) Himes of Ray, Minn.--and four brothers, Edlar and Connie Pederson of Chippewa Falls, Hartwick Pederson of Minneapolis.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 7, from the German Lutheran church at Withee with Rev. Wendling reading the service. Interment was made in the Riverside cemetery.

Pallbearers were Carl Beilfuss, Jay Bogue, Louis Meyers, Ed Laneville, Abel Ammentorp and Alvin Thorson Sr.
