Property: Greenwood, Wisconsin--Bartlett Home

I believe this is the Bartelt family from my Mom's side of our family, which I'm currently researching. But, I need confirmation. I remember her telling me she had an Uncle Willie. I hope someone can help. If you can make a positive identification of this home in Greenwood, Eaton Township, please contact me. This postcard is has an embossed stamp which reads, "Greenwood". I suspect the photo is at least 70 years old.

Thank you ..Ruthie Stoffel

I believe this picture is of a house on a farm that is located about 2 miles west of Greenwood. and then a 1/4 of a mile north. The Bartelts used to live there. I think that there were 2 brothers there. I can remember when a building burnt and they pulled the 10/20 tractor from the building. The tractor had a steel steering wheel and the driver burnt his hands on it. Frank Briski lived there later and I do not know who lives there now.

If Mr. Hribar is correct on placing that house 2 miles west and 1/4 miles north, there was a W. Bartelt that owned 160 acres there from the 1930's or 40's plat book.I haven't pin pointed the exact dates of the plat book yet. In 1967 Frank Birski owned it and currently Richard C. & Mary E. Jacobs owns that property.
