HULL-WENZEL UNITED IN MARRIAGE JUNE 1
Wearing a white taffeta dress fashioned with a shirred torso top, tiered skirt, and short puffed sleeves, Miss Nina Mae Wenzel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wenzel, Withee, became the bride of Robert O. Hull, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Hull, Owen. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was performed on Monday, June 1, by the Rev. W. A. Hotchkiss of the Congregational church at Owen, at the home of the groom's parents.
The bride's lace-edged fingertip veil was caught to a beaded tiara and she wore a corsage of roses and lily of the valley.
Miss Marion Ammentorp, Withee, in pink marquisette and a matching flowered tiara and shoulder-length veil, and with a corsage similar to the bride's, was maid of honor.
Milton Looker, Oconomowoc, attended the groom and Mrs. Donald Marshall played the wedding march and sang, I Love You Truly.
A dinner followed with covers laid for 25 at the table decorated with flowers, pink candles, and a large wedding cake.
Mrs. Hull was graduated from the Withee high school with the class of '42 and Mr. Hull from the Owen High school in 1938.
Following a short wedding trip to the southern part of Wisconsin they are now at home to friends in Owen, where the groom is employed by the Carnation Milk Company.
Guests from away included Mr. and Mrs. Donald Marshall and son, Keith, Thorp. Mr. and Mrs. George Lund and son, Donald, and daughter, Janice, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Basil Wenzel, Athens; and Mrs. Ida Replogle, Waupacea.
