Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the York Center Methodist Church for Mrs. Floy E. Huntley, 92, formerly of the town of York, who died Monday at Memorial Home, where she hand been residing since the fall of 1971. The Rev. Eugene Carlson, Loyal, will officiate, and burial will take place in the York Center cemetery. Friends may call from 2 p.m. Friday at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home here until noon Saturday, when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until the time of the services. The former Floy E. Lawrence was born Jan. 6, 1883 in the town of York and received her education there. She was married on Feb. 16, 1905 at Neillsville to Harmon W. Huntley, and they operated a farm in the town of York. They retired and moved to Neillsville in 1962. Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 17, 1967. She was a member of the York Center Methodist Church and the York Center Ladies Aid. On Aug. 28, 1960, at the 80th anniversary of York Center Methodist Church, Mrs. Huntley and her late husband were honored as the oldest living couple members of the church. She was honored at a 90th birthday anniversary party at Memorial Home in 1973. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Irene Filitz, Neillsville, and Mrs. Merle (Carol) Bushnell, Owen; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
