Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, for Mrs. George (Margaret) Turner, 84, Neillsville Memorial Home, who died at 6:09 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Stephen J. Reiland will officiate with burial in the York Center Cemetery, Granton. The organist will be Eileen Zank. Pallbearers will be William William Buddinger, Jr., Larry Turner, Milton Schoenfeld, Tony Perushek, Harry Bedell, and Elmer Handtke. Visitation will be at the funeral home form 9 a.m. until time of services Saturday. She was born March 30, 1903, in Chicago, to Julius and Margaret Geisler. They came to this area where she attended St. Mary's Catholic School, Neillsville. She was married on December 16, 1922, to George L. Turner at Neillsville. They lived in Illinois for about 10 years before returning to Neillsville. She was employed by Drs. Milton and Sarah Rosekrans, Neillsville, for more than 20 years. She also worked at the Neillsville Milk Products Cooperative for more than 10 years. She had resided at the Memorial Home for the past three months. Surviving are her husband; a son, Donald of Neillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Erwin (Louise) Sternitzky and Mrs. Katherine Buddinger, both of Granton; and a granddaughter. She was predeceased by her parents, a daughter, Jane, twin daughters in infancy, and four brothers, George, Frank, William, and Jack Geisler.
