Myron A. Turner, 71, Eagle River, a native of Clark County, died Tuesday at Eagle River Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Gesche Funeral Home . The Rev. William Noble fo United Methodist Church is to officiate and burial will be at York Center Cemetery. Friends May call from 6 - 9 p.m. Thursday and until services Friday at the funeral home. He was born September 10, 1908 in the Town of York to Abie and Hattie (Lindsley) Turner and received his education there. He worked with his father as a carpenter and later moved to Chicago, then to Kirkland, Illinois, to work. The past several years he had resided at Eagle River. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Reinart; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Schoenfeld and Mrs. Harriet Triska, both Neillsville; and five brothers, George, Clayton and Orville, all of Neillsville, Victor of Wisconsin Rapids, and Wilbur of Kirkland.
