Horrell, Miles C. (3 JUL 1903 - 25 JAN 1907)

Miles Colburn Horrell, born July 3, 1903, died Jan. 25, 1907, aged three years, six months and twenty-two days.

Little Miles Horrell, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Horrell, of this place (Humbird, Clark County, Wis.), died Friday, Jan 25th of complications induced by scarlet fever and diphtheria. The interment occurred Sunday and was in private, owing to the contagious nature of the trouble.

The little boy was sick just three weeks, and while at first was not considered dangerous, yet he grew steadily worse in spite of all efforts to relieve him.

Miles was a bright little fellow, and numbered among his friends, not only many children of his own age, but also persons older than himself. He ever had a word of welcome and a ready response, and his cheery little face will be missed by many outside of his home circle.
