ABBOTSFORD - Helen Nagel, 83, formerly of Abbotsford, died July 17, 2005, at her son's home in Plover.


Services will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford, Wis. Burial will be in Trimont, Minn.


Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.


She was born Sept. 15, 1921, to George and Edith (Swanson) Blomquist in Martin County, Minn. She was a homemaker and worked in food preparation at the Colonial Center. Helen also served her country as a welder in San Francisco shipyards during World War II.


Surviving are her daughter, Randalyn (Gary) Thompson, Spencer; son, Gaylen (Jean) Nagel, Plover; one sister, Gladys (Ted) Sauers of Sherburn, Minn.; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

TRIMONT -- Services for Helen Nagel, 83, of Abbotsford, Wis., formerly of the Dunnell-Sherburn area, will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, Trimont. Burial will be in First Lutheran Cemetery, rural Trimont. Nagel died Sunday, July 17, 2005, in Plover, Wis. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Kramer Family Funeral Home, Trimont, and Maurina Funeral Service, Abbotsford, Wis., are in charge of arrangements.
