Jim's Dairy Bar was owned by William F. Neuenfeldt was first operated by his son, James Neuenfeldt followed by Raymond "Bud" Ackerman, Mr. & Mrs. Russell Edwards, and Gerald Neuenfeldt (another of Wm. Neuenfeldt's sons). 

 

The Dairy Bar was previously known as George Papich's Coast to Coast Store

26 Jan 1950

Fifty-seven year old William F. Neuenfeldt was a prominent real-estate agent and former publisher of  both the Greenwood Gleaner and the Loyal Tribune. He owned this property at the time his thirty-one year old son, Jim, opened the new Dairy Bar.

3 Feb 1950

This new convenience store not only provided a modern full soda fountain with a modern deispenser for serving Coke, but delicious boxes of chocolates, greeting cards and a variety of magazines.  Many lucky ladies opened a box of candy on Valentine's Day which was purchased at Jim's Dairy Bar on Main Street, Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin.

Along with Donuts, Sunday Papers and Home made pies, "Jim's" also sold Veterinary supplies and offered a 24 hour film developing service which was provided by a local photographer, Alvin Schwarze.
