The Farmers Union held a "Winter Picnic" at the Federation Hall Tuesday, which was well attended. The speakers were Howard P. Wanner, our County President, and T.C. Hathaway of St. Paul, Minn.
J.F. Stoller called on Joe Kettner Thursday and Friday.
Harry Thorson remained overnight at the Elton Jenkins home Tuesday.
Miss Hawley, the Supervisor of school, called on the Hemlock School pupils thur. Fred Limprecht Jr. caller there Wednesday.
Miss Leona Thorson spent Thursday afternoon with Evelyn Stoller.
Messrs. Alex Behrens and Jack Keifer called on Mrs. Victor Krokson Sunday.
Ethel Krokson spent Monday night at the Alex Behrens home.
Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Keifer called on Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Stoller Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Durst and family visited relatives at Neillsville Sunday.
Mrs. Geo. Einfeldt called at the Voie and Keifer homes Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Keifer called on Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Durst Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Hall had supper with Mr. and Mrs. J.F. Stoller and family Wednesday evening.
We have been having real blustery winter weather the past week.
As a result of the weather, the Hemlock Aid was postponed until Thursday afternoon.
E.F. Culp and son Walter motored to Eau Claire Wednesday.
Miss Mary Culp was entertaining the "flu" last week.

Frieda and John Stoller Jr. remained overnight at the C.E. Hall home Thursday after the school tournament.
Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie and family called on Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kind Friday evening.
Laverne Durst called on the Keifer boys one evening last week.
Eleanor Thorson spent Sunday night at the Stoller home, and Lois Stoller remained overnight at the Thorson home.
