Miss Karen Sue Cole, Loyal and Roger Lee Schwarze, Greenwood exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, June 22, at 1 p.m. at a Nuptial Mass with the Very Rev. Norbert King officiating at the double ring ceremony at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. St. Anthony's Children's Choir sang and Michael Tucker was the organist.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Cole, route 2, Loyal; and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Schwarze, route 2, Greenwood.

The bride given in marriage by her father wa seen in floor length A-line gown of white cotton piquet trimmed with Venice pointe lace and detachable watteau train. A lace and pearl petal headpiece secured her veil of illusion. She carried a bouquet of white camellias and white stephanotis and ferns. with white satin streamers.

Miss Nancy Cole, Loyal, was the maid of honor and Miss Kathy Berge, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Miss Debra Cole, Loyal, was the bridesmaids

The attendants wore floor length spring turquoise A-line skimmers fashioned of Karate linen and attached self fabric back panel. Their head pieces were short bouffant veils attached to chiffon petals. They each carried bouquets of white daisies, mums with white streamers.

Barbara Cole, Loyal was her sister's flower girl. Tom Olson, Milwaukee, nephew of the groom, served as ring bearer.

Orville Schwarze, Spencer, served as best man. William Cole, Loyal and Gil Rhode, Greenwood were the groomsmen. Ushering the guests were Norman Olson, Milwaukee and Tom Beaver, Loyal.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Loyal Amusement Hall and a 4:30 p.m. dinner was served at St. Anthony's parish hall. A dance was held at the Silver Dome that evening.

The bride is a 1965 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1967 graduate of Marathon Co. Technical Institute and the past year has been employed at North West Airlines, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The groom is a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School and a 1966 graduate af Marathon Co. Technical Institute. He is stationed in Japan with the U.S. Air Force, where the couple will make their home for two years, after a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.
