Mrs. Stanley (Lorraine) Smagacz, age 40, Wisconsin Rapids, and a native of Neillsville, died last Friday, June 26, 1970, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield following a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held Monday, at 9 a.m. from St. Vincent De Paul Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Rev. Carl Dockendorf officiated. Burial was made in the Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Smagacz was born in Neillsville, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Vladamir Holub on November 5, 1929.
After her marriage to Stanley Smagacz on April 7, 1956, in Neillsville, they moved to Wisconsin Rapids. Preceding her in death was her husband, Stanley in 1966 and her parents.
Surviving are two children, James, 10 and Lorraine, 13, who will stay with their great aunt, Mrs. James Gall of Neillsville; a grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Meier of Memorial Home in Neillsville; an aunt Mrs. Fred McCarthy; and four uncles.
