Jonathan and Janis Galster

Janis Elizabeth Haack and Jonathan Leroy Galster were united in marriage July 4, 2005, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer.

The Rev. Charles Stoetzel officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony. Music was provided by Paul Bernier, soloist, and Jean Schwantes, organist.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at RiverEdge.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents, Terrance and Donna Haack of Spencer. The groom is the son of Paul and Donna Galster of Alma Center.

Matron of honor was Doris Spencer of St. Thomas, Pa. Bridesmaids were Gail Ortiz of Wausau, Christina Galster of Superior, Brittany Brubaker of Huntington, Ind., and Susan Bredl of Granton.

Best man was William Bandell of Mosinee. Groomsmen were James Ortiz of Wausau, Adrian Galster of Alma Center, Scott Paar of La Crosse and Christian Bucheger of Superior.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Lydia Spencer and Stephen Spencer, both of St. Thomas, Pa.

Ushers were Jack Lezza of Neillsville and David Bandell of Holmen.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of Spencer High School and is a student at Mid-State Technical College majoring in medical transcribing. She is employed as a part-time waitress at Casa Loma Fine Dining & Bistro.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Lincoln High School in Alma Center and a 2004 graduate of Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in New Richmond in the motorcycle, marine and outdoor power products technician program. He is employed as an outdoor power products technician at Bill's Service Center in Stratford.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Chicago. They live in Abbotsford, Wis.
