A dance will be held at Sargent's hall to-morrow, (Saturday) evening for the benefit of the Base Ball nine. Everybody turn out. Tickets only 50 cts.
Isaac Smith will give a dance at Sargent's hall on Thursday evening Aug. 4th. Everybody invited. Music by Cadott full string band. Tickets only 50 cts.
Differences have arisen in School Dist. No. 2, of this town since the annual meeting which compel the board to defer action in the matter of building a schoolhouse, at least for the present.
A westbound passenger train killed a cow belonging to Ferd. Klockner near the coal kiln switch on Saturday last. No less than seven head of cattle were killed on the R. R. track between this place and Cadott on Sunday last.
T. O. Mosher has sold eight cows this week, which he purchased in LaCrosse county.
