Arndt, Otto (19 MAY 1851 - 15 MAR 1898)

Died, at his home at Withee, Clark Co., Wis., of epileptic exhaustion, on Tuesday, March 15th, 1898, Otto Arndt, in the 47th years of his age.

Otto Arndt was born in Germany May 19th, 1851. When he came to this country he settled at Milwaukee, where he remained for several years, then took up his residence on a farm near Withee, where he lived until his death. In 1888 he became a member of Ermin Lodge, No. 9, O.D.H.S., of Milwaukee, and still retained that membership. He leaves a widow and one daughter, Mrs. Julius Steinert of Withee, to mourn his death. The funeral occurred on Thursday, the 17th, in this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), and was conducted by Colby Lodge No. 46, O.D.H.S., H.C. Bruns officiating as president. The remains were interred in Colby Cemetery.
