Dumler, Ruth A. (15 AUG 1924 - 25 NOV 2005)

Ruth A. Dumler, 81, a former Spencer resident, died on Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at Three Oaks, Marshfield. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 10:30 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, Spencer. The Rev. Charles D. Stoetzel officiated. Music was provided by Suzanne Golden, organist.

Ruth A. Meyer was born on Aug. 15, 1924, in Loyal, to Albert and Mathilda (nee Newhouse) Meyer. She married Walter Dumler on Oct. 31, 1944. He died on Nov. 2, 1990. She was employed at Artcraft Homes in Spencer for 20 years. She enjoyed planting flowers every spring, painting, taking her dog, Buddy, for walks and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lou (Ed) Besson, Hartland, Gloria (Richard) Schaefer, Marshfield, Delores (Rick) Sapinski, Medford, and Barbara (Jesse) Nowak, Marshfield; her sons, Lamont Dumler, Marshfield, Tom Dumler, Spencer, and Richard (Karen0 Dumler, Spencer; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and her dog, Buddy.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; two grandsons, Matthew Dumler, and Micah Nowak; and two sisters, Isabel Galenski and Mary Ann Meyer.
