Stowe, Rufus (1892 -1961)

Loyal - Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Myre Funeral Home for Rufus Stowe, 69, route 1, Unity, who died Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. The Rev. Paul Doering, pastor of the Loyal Methodist Church, officiated, and burial was made in the town of Beaver Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lester Schuette, Chester Hebert, Ulysses Cain, Albert Hardrath and Alfred Schultz.

James R. Colby, accompanied by Mrs. Byron Zepplin at the organ, sang "The Lord Is My Shepherd" and "My Jesus As Thou Wilt."
