Mueller, William (27 AUG 1838 - 22 APR 1904)

Died, at his home in the town of Colby, Clark Co., Wis., on Friday, April 22nd, 1904, of rheumatism and old age, Mr. William Mueller, in the 71st year of his age.

Deceased was born Aug. 27th, 1838, at Brebber, Hanover, Germany; he was united in marriage with Maria Sophie Margaretta Koeber; to them were born two children, Sophie, now Mrs. Henry Gundlach of Fond du Lac, and Herman of the town of Colby, Clark Co. Five years after his wife died.

He married, a few years later, Catherina Margaretta Bucholz, sister of Wm. Bucholz of Colby town; to this marriage was born six children, two of whom are living, Deidrich and Doretta, now Mrs. Louis Weller, both of Colby. All of the children were born in Germany.

In 1883 Mr. Mueller came from Germany to the town of Colby. His wife died about ten years ago, and on Monday his remains were laid beside hers in Colby Cemetery. The funeral being held from Zion Lutheran Church, Rev. A. Kuring officiating.
