Graham, James (23 APR 1843 - 27 APR 1904)

Died, James Graham of the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., died at the Veteran’s Hospital at Waupaca, on the 27th day of April 1904 of consumption.

James Graham was born at Hull, Canada on the 23rd day of April 1843, from there he removed to the United States and on the 4th day of February 1864, enlisted in Co. K, 22nd Michigan Infantry, and was mustered out of service in September 1865.

On the 14th day of May 1877, he was united in marriage to Mary Dolph; twelve children were born to this marriage, ten of whom are living.

Mr. Graham came to the town of Hull in the early seventies and located on the farm which has been his home ever since.

Mr. Graham was a highly respected citizen of Marathon Co. and has held some of the most important town offices. He was a member of I.N. Earl Post, G.A.R., and also of the Grand Lodge of the town of Hull.

The funeral was held at the Veteran’s Home on the 29th day of April and the remains interred at the Veteran’s Cemetery near Waupaca.

Mrs. Graham, son Ed, daughters Celia and Martha, attended the funeral.

Mr. Graham was sick just one year to a day.
