Max Kann will receive a car load of farm and heavy draft horses at his barns at Boyd today, which he will dispose of at very reasonable prices.

Theodore Feltz of Cadott, has taken the position of foreman at J. W. Cirkel & Sons factory here, made vacant by the removal to Boyd of Chris Zapp.

The children will give a concert at Baptist church Friday evening for purpose of getting song books to be used in Sunday Schools of this place. All are invited. Admission free.

The jury in the case of Slupecki & Co. vs. the Polish paper, Wiarus, which was tried at Winona, Minn., last week, failed to agree and another trial will have to be held ot settle the matter.

Bert Tolford, for the past year employed as book-keeper by the Garrison Mercantile Co. has accepted a similar position with J. W. Cirkel & Sons and commenced work at their office on Monday last.

The little son of Geo. B. Parkhill yanked a burning lamp off the table at his home on Saturday evening last nearly causing a serious fire. But a small amount of damage resulted, although it was a narrow escape.
