Re: BioM: La
Reine, Camille (Marriage - 1929)
Camille was a lovely lady and a good next door neighbor to me in 1995. I loved visiting with her in her home in Palmdale. She told me she was a costume designer in Hollywood before marrying and she had interesting stories which she told me about Clark Gable ( said he was snobby) and other stars such as John Agar, etc. I gave her an large old pink/brown book I had about MGM studios and stars. It had pictures of Marilyn Monroe and Tab Hunter and dozens of others such as Mary Pickford and Douglas Fairbanks Jr. She also told me about the cars parked behind her house in Palmdale that were accumulating at a suspicious rate.
I have tried to locate her but waited 9 years to do so. I went to her home last year and she was no longer living there. It made me sad. I regret this as she had asked me to please be sure and write her after I moved to Alabama in '95. Would she still be with us?
Can I commuciate with her? I lived next door to her for only 4 months. My last name at that time was Amesbury. I was the red head next door that she use to see doing aerobics on the carport. we lived near the Mojave Desert and it was unbelievabley hot and dry. Info would be appreciated. She was a sweet lady.
