To Whom:

I am a 5th generation link to George Hempleman and Margarette Duffy Hempleman who arrived in Richmond, VA, in 1750. Are you related to the same branch. After their indentureship, they moved to PA where George served honorably in a PA regiment during the American Revolution.

May I hear from you?

Karen,

I am not related, but this past week, the Hempleman name came up regarding the Old Norwegian Cemetery in Worden Township. Were any of your ancestors buried there? Jenny Clerf of Gilman told us there were soldiers from early wars buried there and that their stones were removed and used for a barn foundation. Do you by any chance know anything about this?

Janet
