Haslbeck, Bennie (1 SEP 1892 - 24 OCT 1906)
On Wednesday evening, Oct. 24th, Bennie, the 13 year old son of Mrs. Mary Haslbeck, died from diabetes mellitus, with inflammation of the spleen and kidneys. Bennie ahd been sick for three weeks, but nothing serious was thought of it until Sunday night, since which time the disease progressed rapidly, Dr. Andrews of Abbotsford was called in consultation with the attending physician, Dr. Jensen, but the boy was beyond medical aid.
Bennie was the only son (his older brother having died from accidental shooting a few years ago) and a great help to his widowed mother and sisters. The entire community will sympathize with the bereaved family.
The funeral services will be conducted at St. Mary’s Church by Rev. Wm. Reding, Saturday morning at 10:30.
