Vaughan, Nellie (27 DEC 1905)

Miss Nellie Vaughan and Rev. W.J. James, M.E. pastor of the Colby-Unity circuit, were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. D.B. Vaughan, in the town of Unity, Clark Co., Wis., on Wednesday, Dec. 27th, 1906, in the presence of relatives only. Presiding Elder F.M. Haight performed the ceremony.

A reception was held in the evening from eight to ten o’clock, when a large number of friends paid their respects to the newly wedded pair. A sumptuous wedding supper was served, after which the guests departed, wishing the bride and groom a happy future.

Rev. and Mrs. James will be at home to their many friends in the M.E. Church Parsonage in this city, after Jan. 5th. The Phonograph reflects the sentiments of their Colby friends in extending hearty congratulations.
