Mrs. H. L. Snyder has returned from her visit to Milwaukee and Cedarburg.
Miss Carrie Peat, who spent the past year at Cedarburg, returned to this place last week.
George Smith, Jr.; who attended school at Green Bay, arrived Wednesday to spend the winter with his parents, G. W. Smith and wife of this place.
C. M. Campbell is hauling lumber from Spokeville to Neillsville, Wis.
Preparations are being made for an entertainment Christmas Eve in the M. E. Church at the Center, also a Christmas tree in the Redmond Church.
Presiding Elder Davis preached to a large audience at the Center Church Friday evening.
Mrs. Abie Turner and Mrs. Melvin Lawrence visited at Pleasant Ridge Saturday.
Frank Snyder purchased 40 acres of land last week for $300.
E. M. Cochrane is home from camp.

Quite a large quantity of wood is being hauled to Fizzleville for shipment to Beaver Dam.
G. W. Smith and family entertained friends from Christie last Sunday.
The young people improved the good skating Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Hugh Bolton was a Greenwood visitor Saturday.
George Campbell recently butchered two eight month old pigs that tipped the scales at 638 pounds, one weighing 318 and the other 320 pounds. Mrs. W. Ide dressed two three month old Brahma chickens that weighed 15 pounds. Who can beat this?
Messrs. W. Graves, W. Rowe, G. Campbell, W. Smithers, A. Benedict, A. Fulwiler and Mesdames Campbell, Rowe and Graves attended the quarterly meeting at Loyal Saturday.
John Palmer and William Garvin visited at Loyal last Saturday.
Mrs. S. W. Bolton will return home from Brothertown tomorrow.
