Rev. J. F. Thompson, of Granton, has been appointed pastor of the York Center and Humbird Free Methodist circuit. The first quarterly conference will be at York Center beginning Friday and continuing over Sunday. District Elder Thwing will preside.

Eddie Graves, Ernest Rowe and Allie Ford drove to Loyal Sunday.

Mrs. Maggie Wheater, of York state, is visiting her brother, W. H. Smithers. They haven’t seen each other for 21 years.

Allie Ford, of Tunnel City, is visiting friends in this vicinity.

Mrs. Lona Baker and daughter Cora, of Hein, were the guests of May Smith one day last week.

Hi Hart has a job moving a building near Spencer. E. M. Cochrane is assisting him or so we are told.

Thus far quite a number of converts were gained during the meetings in the Redmond Church. They closed Sunday night.

Will and Joe McMahon and George and Burt Lawrence are after deer on the Eau Claire.

Mrs. E. B. Johnson and son Lyman visited relatives in Marathon County the past week.

Mrs. Walker, of Neillsville, is the guest of Mrs. S. A. Wilcox.

Arthur Gardner sports a bicycle.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith, of Greenwood, were callers Sunday.

Quite a number of Neillsvillenites attended meeting at Redmond Church Sunday evening.

A grand exhibition was given last evening in District No. 2, which was very good.
