Miss Guenther, G. Wiedenhoeft Wed Saturday (20 Aug. 1966)
The Rev. Lloyd Foster officiated Saturday at the 4 p.m. ceremony uniting Miss Erma Guenther, 921 13th St. S., and Gilbert Wiedenhoeft, Unity. The First Methodist Church was the scene of the nuptials. Organists were the Misses Charlotte and Margaret Bellmer of Milwaukee. Mrs. Raymond Welk, also of Milwaukee, was soloist. Serving as maid of honor was Miss Evelyn Wicker and Robert Guenther, the latter of New York City, was best man. Ushers included Gilbert Wiedenhoeft, and Thomas Forbish. A reception and buffet dinner was held at the church immediately following the ceremony. The former Miss Guenther is a teacher of special education in Wisconsin Rapids and Wiedenhoeft is the owner and operator of a store at Unity.
