Krucher, Caroline (21 JAN 1843 - 27 NOV 1909)

Died, at her home in the town of Hull, Marathon Co., Wis., Saturday morning, Nov. 27th, 1909, of cancer, Mrs. Peter Krucher, in the 67th year of her age.

Deceased was born in LoRand, Denmark, on Jan. 21st, 1843. She was united in marriage to Peter Krucher at that place, in July 1863, and in 1866 came to this country with her husband and settled in the town of Winchester, Winnebago Co., Wis., where they continued to reside until 1873, when they came to Colby, and settled on the farm where she died. She was the mother of seven children, three of whom are living, Robert of Ipswich, S.D., Mrs. Mike Stewart of Plainfield, and Leonard, who still resides at home.

During her long residence here she had always enjoyed good health until last April, when her health broke down, and she was a great sufferer until death came to her relief. She was a woman loved and highly respected by her neighbors and in fact by all who knew her. The entire community joins in expressions of sympathy to the husband and children int their sad bereavement.

The funeral was held from the M.E. Church in this city, Wednesday afternoon, Rev. R. Prescott officiating, and the remains laid to rest in Colby Cemetery.
