Tesmer, Anna M. (16 JUN 1908)

Tuesday morning, June 16th, 1908, St. Mary’s Church was the scene of a very pretty wedding, Miss Anna M. Tesmer being united in holy bonds of wedlock to Conrad N. Orth, both of this city (Colby, Clark Co., Wis.), in the presence of a large gathering of relatives and admiring friends. The contracting pair were attended by Miss Lizzie Orth, sister of the groom, and Paul Tesmer, brother of the bride. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Schramm. A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tesmer, on Spence St., and a sumptuous dinner was served to the guests. The afternoon was spent in visiting and in the evening they adjourned to the opera house where they tripped their light fantastics to the sweet strains from the Columbian band.

The love and esteem in which this worthy couple is held was shown by the numerous and beautiful presents. The many friends of the bride and groom wish them a long, pleasant and prosperous life.
